All-time weather extremes are occurring at multiple locations around the world right now. They include:

Super Typhoon Wutip – a Category 5 storm with 160 mph winds–the first Northern Hemisphere Category 5 tropical cyclone on record in February. The storm is west of Guam.

Historic snow continues in the Sierras, with Squaw Valley reporting 537 inches of snow this season, and 21 feet just this month!

In Britain, temperatures unusual even in summer were reported Monday and Tuesday. The hottest temperatures ever recorded in the United Kingdom in the winter months were reported in Porthmadog, Wales. The 69°F temperature broke the all-time record set only one day earlier. The previous warmest winter weather on record was 67.5° recorded in London on Feb. 13th, 1998.
