Global warming continues to rear its ugly head across the Texas and the U.S. It looks like the coming summer in Central Texas will make this the 12th consecutive year with hotter than normal temperatures during the June-July-August period.

The latest outlooks from the Climate Prediction Center indicates mostly warmer than normal temperatures for Texas and much of the U.S. for the next year or more. The outlooks also indicate the potential for a wet spring, then equal chances for wetter or drier than normal weather for the rest of the year, into 2020.
