You won’t be able to use the weather as an excuse from hitting the polls on Tuesday. We’re expecting some of the brightest and warmest conditions of the week!

If you plan to head to the polls early, you may want to budget some extra time for the morning commute. Patchy to dense fog will likely develop, reducing visibility rates across parts of the area. Otherwise, it will be a mild and muggy morning, in the 60s.

If you’re heading to the lines during your lunch break, we’ll finally be seeing that sunshine return as highs quickly climb through the 70s, nearing 80° by noon.

After daytime highs climb into the mid 80s in many spots, temperatures will be slow to cool down through the evening. Sunset is at 5:39 p.m.

Enjoy this spring-like warmth while you can. Your First Warning Weather Team is tracking changes in the form of a strong cold front later this week.
