Virtual Care for Kids is proud to be the first company to offer Pediatric Telemedicine for children across the entire state of Texas.
What does that mean for busy parents? If you have a smartphone, iPad, laptop or computer you can reach a pediatrician 365 days a year.
“We’ve built our model to deliver the best patient experience in telemedicine no matter what device or connection you’re using by putting mobile quality care measures in place,“ Virtual Care for Kids President Kevin Pearce said.
Simply click on the “Get Started” button on the Virtual Care Kids’ website here, and you will be connected to a pediatrician to evaluate and treat your child from home.
Depending on your child’s needs- they can send a prescription to your near-by pharmacy.
What are the hours?
Pediatric care is available 7 days per week, 365 days per year. (including holidays!)
Monday- Friday: Noon- 9pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9am-9pm
What ages does Virtual Care for Kids serve?
Pediatricians can see kids up to age 21-years-old.
Does Virtual Care for Kids take Insurance?
Yes! Click here for a full list of accepted insurances. They also accept most Medicaid plans. Paying without insurance is a flat fee of $75.
What if I need in person care?
Virtual Care for Kids is a service provided by Urgent Care for Kids. If you would like to see a doctor in person – you can still go to their clinic locations in the Austin area- located in Round Rock and Cedar Park.
