Studio 512

We’re lovin it today! We got quite a treat; the whole McDonald’s gang, including Ronald McDonald, Gimmace, Birdie and the Hamburglar came in-studio to talk about all the new, exciting things happening at America’s most famous restaurant!

McDonald’s is celebrating 40 years of the Happy Meal — many memories, fun and special times, and collection of vintage and new toys. This is a unique part of growing up, enjoying childhood, and walking down memory.

To celebrate, all participating McDonald’s in Austin have these great toys and there are a total of 17 new and vintage pieces, when you stop by, make sure you tell them Ronald personally asked you to stop by for as much fun as possible. In December, they are having the “Round Up” campaign, where customers can round up to the nearest dollar, all proceeds will go the local Ronald McDonald House to help out in a worthy cause. McDonald’s is also participating in Veterans Day Celebration. Owner/Operators of McDonald’s restaurants will be providing free meals to veterans centers across Central Texas for Veterans Day. Also, any Veteran or active duty military can stop by any McDonald’s for a free meal.
