AUSTIN (KXAN) — The PGA Tour is coming to Austin in two weeks with the fourth year of the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play.
In the first three years of the event, Austin’s been fortunate to have big names come away as big winners. Jason Day, Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson are the defending champions at Austin Country Club. This year, everyone’s keeping their eye on the biggest name in golf, Tiger Woods.
Woods is ranked in the top 64 of the World Golf Rankings and could be set to make his debut at Austin Country Club. Woods is wating to see how his body fares this week at The Players Championship.
TPC Sawgrass is the main event this week on tour. Jordan Spieth, so far, hasn’t fared well at The Players during his career. Spieth hasn’t played well many places in 2019.
