AUSTIN (KXAN) — The next step in the NFL journey begins for 10 Texas Longhorns after being drafted or signed to rookie free agent deals.

Rookie minicamps are underway for defensive end Charles Omenihu (drafted by the Texans) and defensive back Kris Boyd (drafted by Vikings) along with eight Longhorns that signed with teams as undrafted free agents.
