The early February ice storm damaged the KXAN transmitter site beyond repair. This affects all viewers who receive KXAN over the air. Cable customers should not be affected.
While we work to get the transmitter replaced, we are temporarily moving our KXAN signal to Channel 54.5. Rescan to find it and tune in there to receive all KXAN programming. Click here for instructions for rescanning on your TV from the FCC.
We will let everyone know when we are back on Channel 36.1 via programming notes at KXAN.com and our social media platforms. You will need to rescan your channels at that time to find it. Thanks for watching KXAN!
You can watch KXAN newscasts online.
