Woman rescued after 20 foot fall at Walnut Creek Nature Preserve

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A woman was transported to the hospital and her dog taken to the vet after a 20 foot fall at Walnut Creek Nature Preserve in North Austin Sunday.

Austin-Travis County tweeted that the fall happened around 6:40 p.m.

According to tweets by ATCEMS the woman in her 30’s was wheeled to an ambulance and then taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with potentially serious injuries. Her dog is being evaluated by a vet.
