Two vehicle crash causes FM 1431 shutdown


TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A two vehicle collision on Farm Market 1431 in Jonestown has caused the road to be completely shutdown Saturday evening.

According to a tweet by Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, the crash occurred just after 6 p.m. Saturday.

STAR flight transported two injured children to Dell Children’s Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to ATCEMS. There were also two adults, male and female that were transported to DCMC with non-life threatening injuries.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has taken over this case. FM 1431 will be shutdown until the scene has been cleared.
