AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two Boeing 737’s were damaged and taken out of service after Friday night’s storms.
According to United Airlines two of their 737’s were at Austin-Bergstrom Airport overnight when strong winds hit the area.
As a result of the damage both planes have been taken out of service for the time being.
The passengers scheduled to fly on the planes to Chicago and Houston have been put onto other flights and accommodated for.
