TEMPLE, Texas (KWKT) — Cedric Marks, the man accused of burglarizing the home of murder victim Jenna Scott, is on the way back to Bell County.

Marks spent the last 23 days in the Kent County Jail in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Jail officials tell KXAN sister station KWKT a transfer company picked him up at 10:46 a.m. Central Time Thursday morning to bring him back to Texas.

Marks waived extradition earlier this month.

Temple Police are not saying if Marks has any connection with the disappearance or deaths of Scott or her friend Michael Swearingin.

Their bodies were found in Oklahoma earlier this month.

On Tuesday, the woman accused of driving Swearingin’s car to Austin and leaving it there returned to Bell County after being arrested in Muskegon, Michigan.
