LIVE: Plane crashes on highway, strikes vehicles in Sugar Land

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A small plane crashed on Highway 6 in Sugar Land Wednesday.

The plane went down around 3 p.m. and officials say it struck several cars and was leaking fuel, according to Houston NBC affiliate KPRC. Luckily no fire was started.

No information has been released on whether or not anyone was injured in the crash. However, authorities did say that power lines were down, and they are advising people to avoid the area.
