H-E-B recalls olives for potential glass in jars

H-E-B recalling olives

SAN ANTONIO (KXAN) — H-E-B is issuing a precautionary recall for its Ode to Olives sliced salad olives for potential glass in the product.

The grocery store chain says it’s voluntarily issuing the all-store recall specifically for the 10-ounce glass jars with a best by date of Nov. 3, 2019.

There have been no injuries reported to the store. The product has been removed from the shelves.

H-E-B says it’s working closely with the manufacturer to make sure all safety measures are being taken.

Customers who bought the product can return it to the store for a full refund. Customers with any questions or concerns may contact H-E-B Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
