AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas softball closed the door on Baylor and the regular season Sunday with a 3-1 win on “Senior Day”.

Seniors Bekah Alcozer, Brooke Bolinger, and Ki’Audra Hayter celebrated their final regular season game as Longhorns. The day will bear even more significance for Hayter.

Hayter’s brother, Army sergeant La’Kedran Hayter, traveled from Okinawa, Japan to surprise her at the game. It was the first time the brother and sister have seen each other in person in three years.

This emotional video from the moment the siblings reunited says everything.

The Longhorns (41-12, 12-6) enter this week’s Big 12 Tournament as the No. 3 seed, facing No. 2 Oklahoma State 11 a.m. Friday in Oklahoma City.
