Suspect accused of shooting woman at San Marcos party

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) – Hays County Police are looking for a man who is said to have fired gunshots while at a large party in San Marcos.

At around 1:10 a.m., Hays County Sheriff’s received a 911 call to the Quail Creek Country Club at 2701 Airport Highway 21. When en route, deputies were told gunshots were fired in the area.

When deputies arrived, they found an 18-year-old black female with gunshot wounds who was identified as an innocent bystander. She was transported by EMS to an Austin area hospital to receive medical treatment and is currently in stable condition.

The suspect is identified as a thin-built black male wearing a green jacket and beanie hat. He was last seen in a white colored sedan with aftermarket tires and rims.
