How social media can become a factor in developing eating disorders

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Health experts say the more access teenagers have to social media, the higher their risk of developing an eating disorder. Helping to fuel some of that fire is the constant comparison to images they find on social media.

Regional Clinical Director of the Eating Recovery Center Dr. Allison Chase sat down with KXAN to discuss the impact social media can have on developing teens.
