BASTROP COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — An employee of the Sherwood Forest Faire in Bastrop County was arrested by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, Friday evening.
Clifton Will Eubanks, IV, 30, of Pushmataha County, Oklahoma was arrested in McDade, Texas without incident, according to the task force.
Eubanks was investigated by Oklahoma authorities in late 2015 after it was alleged that Eubanks sexually assaulted a minor over the course of several months in 2014 at the victim’s home.
The task force said Eubanks fled the area and was employed by a vendor at the Sherwood Forest Faire, a medieval-style village and renaissance festival in Bastrop County.
Staff at the Sherwood Forest Faire provided “valuable” assistance and was cooperative with the task force after they were notified of Eubanks wanted status, authorities said.
Eubanks was placed in the custody of the Bastrop County Detention Center pending his extradition to Pushmataha County in Antlers, Oklahoma.
