CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) — Cedar Park police are calling on surrounding communities to help them locate a missing 17-year-old girl.

On Jan. 18, Nina Marie Castillo ran away from her parent’s house and hasn’t been seen since, according to Cedar Park police.

Castilla was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a long sleeve gray shirt with the word “Live” and a picture of a girl on it. Additionally she had a black and gray bag with a pink zipper.

Police note in the press release that they consider Castilla to be a legal adult and the decision to return is up to her. However, due to her parents concerns for her safety, police ask if anyone who knows anything about Castilla’s whereabouts to call (512) 260-4794 or email ricky.pando@cedarparktexas.gov. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting 847411 and the keyword CPPD.
