AUSTIN (KXAN) — Hundreds of University of Texas at Austin students protested President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday through the streets of downtown Austin. The crowd, which swelled to more than 400 by 4 p.m., chanted anti-Trump and progressive slogans.

The crowd went down Guadalupe Street from campus, crossing the First Street Bridge where they paused and regrouped. The protesters then looped around to the Congress Avenue Bridge and marched on the Capitol before returning to campus. Austin police blocked traffic for the protest and described them as peaceful.
