DALLAS (KXAN) — Fried, tasty goodness. That basically sums up all (but one) of the new items that will be on the menu for this year’s State Fair of Texas.
The finalists in the 2016 Big Tex Choice Awards runs the gamut from chicken pot pie pocket with a mac ‘n cheese dip to fried BBQ brisket balls. In the sweets category, Isaac Rousso is offering up cookie fries (cookies in the shape of fries!) and Ruth Hauntz created fried Jell-O.
