AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas fans aren’t the only ones optimistic about the Longhorns chances to win the national title for the 2019 season.
Caesars Palace in Las Vegas released odds for the 2020 National Championship and Texas checks in with the fourth best odds to win it all. For the upcoming season, the Longhorns odds are better than Oklahoma’s (20/1) and Texas A&M’s (30/1)
The Longhorns opened Tuesday at 15/1 behind Clemson (2/1), Alabama (5/2), and Georgia (6/1). Ohio State also opened at 15/1.
Around the Big 12, Caesars Palace oddsmakers expect Oklahoma State (150/1) and Texas Tech (200/1) to be the strongest competition for the Longhorns and Sooners.
