Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan had his name come up on Sunday night. That’s when the Rangers’ Bartolo Colon took a perfect game into the 8th inning against the Houston Astros. If Colon had been able to throw a no-hitter, he would have passed Ryan as the oldest (44 11 months) to throw a no hitter. Ryan was just over 44 years old when he threw his 7th and final no-hitter on May 1st, 1991.
Ryan sat down with Roger Wallace at his office in Round Rock and spoke about watching that game on Sunday night and thinking back some 27 years.
