Nearly 4,000 without power in South Austin early Saturday morning

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A circuit lockout left nearly 4,000 people in South Austin near Slaughter Ln without power Saturday morning.

Austin Energy said power has now been restored in most of the area, and a few dozen customers will still be without power as crews isolate and replace a bad cut-out fuse.

The outage started around 7:30 a.m. There are no more current updates.
