QUEENSLAND, Australia (KXAN) — Kangaroos are all over the roads in Australia, but koalas? That’s slightly more unusual.
On Monday, a Queensland police officer came across the adorable marsupial just sitting in the middle of the road. The officer was on his way to work when he spotted the animal.
When the officer approached it, the koala hopped away and got off the road.
