(WTNH) – The robots are coming to Walmart.

The world’s largest retailer announced on Tuesday it is adding thousands of robots to its stores.

The robots will do things like cleaning floors and unloading boxes in backrooms.

Walmart says the move is to free up its human workers to help customers.

The robot rollout will be happening by early next year, with some robots even scanning store shelves to reorder products in low supply.
