The force is with twins named after Luke and Leia born on May 4

National News

When their twins were born on May 4 in Utah, Star Wars fans Kendall and Ross Robbins couldn’t help themselves.

“As soon as we knew that there was a chance they were May the 4th babies, it was like, all right if they are born on May the 4th, that’s happening,” Ross Robbins said.

And indeed, the two were born on Star Wars Day (For those who need a clue, the date leads people to say “May the Fourth be with you,” a common phrase in the galactic adventure created by George Lucas).

Like Padmé Amidala, the couple named their boy Rowan Luke and their girl Kai Leia.

Ross Robbins even wore a Darth Vader shirt to the hospital, which said “I am your father.”
