While some museums may frown upon people taking selfies with their priceless works of art, one museum in California is celebrating it.
The museum is, of course, interactive — it encourages people to take pictures with the displays. It also focuses on the history and culture surrounding the selfie. People can wander among statues of the David with a cell phone added, or sit on a selfie-stick throne a la Game of Thrones.
The Museum of Selfies opened April 1 and runs through May 31 in Glendale, California. Tickets cost $25.
