INDIA (KXAN) — Rescuers saved a leopard from drowning after the animal fell into a 30-foot well in a village in India.

The leopard managed to first climb onto a wooden step ladder secured by rescuers.

Rescuers then lowered a cage down into the well and waited.

Once the leopard made its way into the cage, rescuers quickly shut the door and hoisted it back up to the surface.
