OVERLAND PARK, Kansas (NBC) — Parents, this is a reminder to always keep an eye on your children, or it could end up costing you a fortune.
Sarah Goodman was with her kids at a community center in Overland Park, Kansas.
The kids began wandering around, and then one of the children began hugging a glass mosaic torso.
It fell over, breaking into pieces.
Now the community center’s insurance company wants the Goodman family to pay $132,000 for negligence.
The family says the sculpture wasn’t properly secured, and they’re reaching out to another insurance provider for help.
