AUSTN (KXAN) — A man is his 30s was killed Thursday evening in a head-on crash near Koenig Lane and Middle Fiskville Road, near Highland Mall. A second man in his 30s was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with serious injuries, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened about 6 p.m. Several lanes were closed along the eastbound Koenig Lane/US 290 access road.

Investigators said one vehicle crossed the median and hit the other.This story will be updated when more information is available.
