A Williamson County sheriff’s deputy has been placed on leave following his arrest for driving while intoxicated.
Detective Cody Jones was arrested Sunday by Georgetown Police. He was booked into the Williamson County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bond.
Additional circumstances surrounding his arrest were not immediately available.
Last month, another Williamson County deputy was also arrested and faced charges of public intoxication, injury to a child and resisting arrest. Jack Danford was fired after the incident on March 3, in which he allegedly attacked a 12-year-old girl and punched her in the face.
