SWAT response in Round Rock neighborhood ends peacefully

SWAT situation on Malta Circle in Round Rock ended peacefully on Aug. 30, 2018

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — A SWAT response in a Round Rock neighborhood has ended peacefully, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said.

Sheriff Robert Chody tweeted at 3:15 p.m. Thursday about a heavy police and SWAT presence on Malta Circle — in a neighborhood south of Limmer Loop. 

Chody urged anyone near or in the area to remain in their homes. Around 3:55 p.m., the sheriff said the SWAT situation had ended.
