Snake bites boy after he crashes four-wheeler in Georgetown

Williamson County

After he crashed his four-wheeler Saturday evening, a 12-year-old boy was then bitten by a nearby rattlesnake in Georgetown, said Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody in a tweet.

It happened in the 3100 block of Live Oak Trail, he said.

Chody said that the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.

He said there was no other information at this time, and there was no word on the boy’s condition.
