AUSTIN (KXAN) — An 18-year-old Taylor man’s $50,000 bond was revoked after he was charged with sexual assault of a minor after he allegedly committed a similar crime with another minor after being released from jail, according to documents filed in court.
In October, Aldo Enrique Gatica was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl on June 17. The victim told police Gatica helped her sneak her out of her parents’ house and took her to an abandoned house near Murphy Park in Taylor. The victim told investigators after having sex with her, Gatica left her in the house and she had to call her parents to pick her up.
Gatica was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a minor in the first degree and later released on bond to await trial.
On Dec. 16, Gatica allegedly texted a 14-year-old girl he met through a mutual friend on Snapchat and went to meet the teen at her house. Gatica is accused of having sex with the victim in an RV parked on the property. According to an affidavit, the victim’s father caught the two and called the police.
The sheets in the RV and the victim’s clothes were collected as evidence and Gatica was charged with sexual assault of a minor in the second degree.
After being charged with the second crime, Gatica’s bond was revoked and he was arrested.
