Round Rock resident wins $3M with Texas Lottery scratch ticket

ROUND ROCK (KXAN) — A Round Rock resident claimed a top prize winning a ticket in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game, 300X, officials announced in a press release Friday. 

The winner bought their ticket from JD’s Supermarket 6 at  9111 Farm-to-Market Road 812 and asked to remain anonymous.

“This was the second of the three top prizes worth $3 million to be claimed in this game,” officials wrote. “300X offers more than $134.4 million in total prizes.” 

Officials claim the odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.86, including break-even prizes. 

The Texas Lottery began in 1992 and has generated $28 billion in revenue for the state and has distributed $58 billion in prizes to lottery players, according to the release. 

Some of the other games you can play in the Texas Lottery include “Powerball,” “Mega Millions,” “Lotto Texas,” “All or Nothing,” “Texas Two Step,” “Pick 3,” “Daily 4,” “Cash Five” and scratch ticket games.
