WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office have given residents the all clear after asking them to shelter in place after a shooting just south of Anderson Mill Village on Sunday.

Sheriff Robert Chody tweeted about the shooting at 9815 Copper Creek Dr. in Austin at around 4 p.m.

Residents were asked to shelter in place, a reverse 911 was sent out and next door messages were sent out because deputies were unsure about where the shots were coming from.

No suspect is being sought or is in custody, a spokesperson with the sheriff’s office said.

Sheriff Chody said just before 5:15 p.m. that it appears to be an isolated incident and the public is no longer in danger.
