WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A Liberty Hill church’s preschool, church offices and fellowship hall were completely destroyed in a fire on Saturday, the church’s pastor tells KXAN.
Firefighters with Williamson County Emergency Services District Four responded to a fire at Cross Tracks Church at 101 Church St. around 2 p.m. The church is right near Liberty Hill City Hall southwest of Highway 29.
The church’s pastor, John Saint, said Sonshine Friends Preschool, their church’s offices and their fellowship hall were all destroyed in the flames, but their historic chapel and worship center are ok.
Liberty Hill Police asked people to avoid the area as crews worked in a post on Facebook.
Pastor Saint said thankfully no one was hurt and they will still be having services at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the Liberty Hill ISD Administration Building at 301 Forrest St, which is two blocks from the church.
It is unknown what caused the fire at this time.
