Williamson County

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — A pastor who lost his wife and son in a car crash last Monday is still in a Round Rock intensive care unit.

A Facebook page keeping people updated on Rev. Sheldon Johnson’s condition says he should be moved to a regular room soon.

The person behind a GoFundMe page that’s raised more than $5,000 says it could take a year for him to fully recover.

Meanwhile, funeral arrangements are still pending for his wife, Sharon, and their 13-year-old son, Ray.

They were killed in the crash on US Highway 183 in Burnet County outside Briggs.

Sheldon Johnson had just retired the day before the crash from the United Methodist Church in Goldthwaite.
