GEORGETOWN (KXAN) — A couple, not wanting to wait any longer, tied the knot at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital Wednesday night.
Brandy Cisneros has a diagnosis for ovarian cancer, but she’s at the hospital for unrelated treatment. She and her now husband Mario Orona were eager to tie the knot.
The high school sweethearts told the hospital staff they wanted to get married, and staff decided to plan the whole wedding in one day.
The couple held their ceremony in the hospital chapel and got married by Orona’s cousin, who is an ordained minister.
The hospital dietary staff even made a special wedding cake with sparkling grape juice to drink.
