After a few days under a boil water notice, doctors are warning Austinites not to become lax about it

LIBERTY HILL, Texas (KXAN) — People in Liberty Hill can drink and use their water without heating it after a boil water notice was lifted Tuesday.

The city confirmed laboratory test results did not find any harmful bacteria in the water.

It had issued the boil water notice out of an abundance of caution after electrical problems at its water tower caused the pressure in the City of Liberty Hill Public Water system to drop Sunday.
