AUSTIN (KXAN) — At least half a dozen cars were broken into and burglarized in one Williamson County neighborhood overnight, according to a tweet from Williamson County Sherrif Robert Chody.
“We are taking burglary of vehicle class in Vista Oaks area,” he wrote. “As of now, 6 vehicles reported burglarized.”
Officials are asking residents to check their home security surveillance footage for leads. Chody wrote that most of the burglarized cars were left unlocked.
