AUSTIN (KXAN) — Hutto High School and Nadine Johnson Elementary School were on lockout mode Monday morning after reports of a suspicious person in the area, according to Hutto Independent School District.

A lockout means all doors are locked but business is being conducted as usual, school district officials wrote. Both Hutto ISD PD and Hutto PD are aware and are investigating and coordinating with school administrators.

As of 10:30 a.m., the schools were no longer on lockout.
