AUSTIN (KXAN) — Travis County’s newest deputy can turn into a mean, green, crime-fighting machine. At least, he could with the help of some movie magic.

Lou Ferrigno, the actor who played the Incredible Hulk on TV, stopped by the sheriff’s office Thursday on his way to Wizard World Comic Con, where he’s expected to sign autographs and pose for photos Friday through Sunday.

Ferrigno is a Los Angeles County Reserve Deputy and decided to visit TCSO to offer “encouragement and thanks,” according to a Facebook post showing photos of Ferrigno gamely posing for pictures showing off his and deputies’ hulking muscles.

Sheriff Sally Hernandez also swore him in as an honorary TCSO deputy, adding to his numerous accolades and long career which included bodybuilding, acting and motivational speaking.
