Over 3,000 homes, businesses without power Monday in southwest Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Over 3,000 homes and businesses are without power Monday morning in southwest Austin, according to Austin Energy. 

At about 9:45 a.m., about 3,834 customers lost power, according to an Austin Energy map that tracks outages.

Crews are working to restore power and hope to have it back by 11:15 a.m.
