Manor police need help finding suspect in drive-by shooting

Travis County

MANOR, Texas (KXAN) — The Manor Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a vehicle used in a drive-by shooting in Manor.

The shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday morning in the Greenbury Subdivision on Gallant Street, where shots were reportedly fired from a vehicle toward a home and a car parked in front of the home.

Manor Police have received security footage of the truck driving through the neighborhood from several homeowners.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older model, tan Ford F-150 Extended Cab with a toolbox in the bed and side step rails. The vehicle is said to have a loud exhaust system.

Detectives are working to decipher the truck’s license plate number through the footage they’ve received.

“For a quick resolution, a tip would be great,” said Sergeant Craig Struble of the Manor Police Department. “I can’t imagine waking up and you have bullets going at your house.”

No injuries occurred in the shooting.

If you have any information about the vehicle or its occupants, call Manor PD at (512) 272-8177. Anyone with a tip can stay anonymous.
