Six residents displaced after duplex fire in east Austin Sunday morning


AUSTIN (KXAN) — Early Sunday morning, Austin Fire Department crews were able to extinguish a fire at a duplex in east Austin that resulted in the displacement of six residents.

According to AFD, crews were able to put out the fire in the 7400 block of Tumbleweed Drive, and were assisted by Central Texas Red Cross.

AFD says there were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
