AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police say a man shot multiple times Wednesday morning in southeast Austin, drove more than 2 miles to a hotel and called 911.
Police say the man’s car had multiple bullet holes. The man was taken to the hospital but police say he may not survive.
They believe he was shot on Bluff Springs Road near Nelms Drive just after 12:50 a.m. They say he was able to make his way to the Fairfield Inn & Suites on the I-35 frontage road just south of East Ben White Boulevard. He called 911 at 1 a.m. The hotel is approximately 2.5 miles from where police believe the man was shot.
They do not have any suspects in the shooting.
