Thomas the Tank Engine coming through Hill Country next weekend

BURNET, Texas (KXAN) — Next weekend, you’ll be able to take a ride courtesy of Thomas the Tank Engine in the Texas Hill Country.

Thomas is making his way through the United States and will be stopping in Burnet, Texas at 401 E. Jackson St. Friday through Sunday, Sept. 28-30.

In addition to the 25-minute ride on the Austin Steam Train pulled by Thomas, you’ll be able to meet Sir Topham Hatt, the controller of the railway, and visit Thomas & Friends Imagination Station with Thomas-themed activities.

The town of Burnet is a one-hour drive northwest of Austin.

Tickets cost $24 per person. Children under the age of two do not need a ticket.
