Amber Alert canceled for 3 children missing in Burnet County

BURNET COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — The Burnet County Sheriff’s office said it canceled an Amber Alert for three children it believes to be in immediate danger. It didn’t immediately have details as of just before 9 a.m. Authorities say the children were found safe in Houston and the suspect has been arrested.

The three children are:

  • Taniya Chatman, black, female, 10 years old, DOB 5/31/08 with black hair
  • Teanna Chatman, black, female, 8 years old, DOB 10/27/10 with black hair
  • Brock Chatman, black, male, 9 years old, DOB 10/2009 with black hair

Authorities were originally looking for this woman in connection with their abduction:

  • Tekecha Quinonce, black, female, 29 years old, DOB 9/14/88, 5’2″, 230 LBS, black hair, black eyes

 Authorities say Quinonce is driving a black, 2008 Pontiac G6 with a Texas license plate DCR0363.

She was last heard from in Bertram at 4 p.m. on Monday.
